An employee of the Security Department shot himself in Almalyk

An employee of the Security Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who served in Almalyk, left his duty and went home with a service weapon. After that, the 37-year-old employee committed suicide with his own weapon at home.

According to Kun.uz sources, the tragedy occurred early in the morning on August 29. M.O., an employee of the Security Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was on duty that night. According to the source, the employee "went home in the morning and shot himself with a service weapon in his home." The causes of the incident are unknown.

Kun.uz contacted the press secretary of the Department of Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Sardor Tuyboyev, to get an official response to the incident.

"Yesterday, our employee really shot himself. The incident occurred at the employee's house, where he shot himself with his assigned service weapon. Actually, the service weapon was supposed to be delivered to the battalion after duty. But the employee acted differently. "Currently, a forensic examination has been appointed in relation to the deceased employee," the press secretary of the Department of Security explained.

He added that the employee was 37 years old. The causes of the incident and other details of the case are being investigated by the prosecutor's office.
