A tragic traffic accident in the city of Olmaliq, Tashkent Region, has resulted in the death of one minor.
It is reported that the tragic incident occurred during the day on May 12 on Amir Temur Street. According to preliminary data, a driver born in 2000 struck two children crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing.
As a result of the accident, one of the children, born in 2017, died in the hospital due to severe injuries. The second victim is currently under medical supervision.
Law enforcement agencies have initiated a criminal case regarding the incident. Investigation actions against the driver are currently underway.
As a reminder, earlier in the Marhamat District of Andijan Region, a pedestrian also died in a traffic accident involving a truck.
