In Andijan region, on September 5, a fire occurred that drew public attention. According to the regional Department of Emergency Situations, the incident happened at a gas filling station for vehicles located in the Andijan district.
It was reported that during the process of draining about 5 tons of liquefied propane gas from the tank of a MAN fuel truck, technological requirements were violated. As a result, a fire broke out and spread across a large area.
The emergency was reported at 12:05. Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene at 12:13 and promptly began their work. The fire was contained at 12:26 and completely extinguished by 13:03.
Authorities and officials stated that no one was injured in the incident. This demonstrated that thanks to the timely actions of the fire and rescue service, a major tragedy was prevented.
Experts emphasize that such incidents usually occur due to non-compliance with safety regulations. Therefore, the public was reminded of the need for maximum caution and strict adherence to the rules at gas filling stations.
