Another road accident in Tashkent caused a major stir. On the night of September 6, in the Mirobod district of the capital, an ambulance collided with an Audi car and overturned. This was reported by the city Department of Road Safety.
According to the information, at around 02:50 on Afrosiyob Street, near house 12A, the driver of the Audi lost control of the vehicle. As a result, he sharply collided with a Ford ambulance, leading to a serious situation on the road.
Eyewitnesses stated that the collision occurred with a strong impact, and the special vehicle carrying a team of doctors overturned in the middle of the road. The vehicle, which was preparing to transport a patient, was put out of service due to the incident, and medical assistance was temporarily interrupted.
According to official reports, first medical aid was provided on the spot to the Ford driver and his passenger. It is noted that they did not suffer serious injuries but fell into shock as a result of the strong impact.
At present, the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs Road Safety officers are conducting an investigation into the road accident. Experts are examining the technical condition of both vehicles and the state of the driver.
Officials emphasized that being cautious while driving at night is especially important. Fatigue and lack of concentration are in most cases the main causes of road tragedies.
This incident once again reminded how important it is to strictly follow road safety rules and how great the responsibility of drivers is.
