On September 7, a video widely circulated on social networks sparked heated discussions in society. The footage clearly shows a driver failing to give way to an ambulance. The Road Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent region gave an official explanation regarding the incident.
According to the information, the incident occurred in the Yangiyul district. As a result of the investigation carried out by law enforcement officers, the driver of the Lasetti car seen in the video was identified.
The man explained his actions as follows:
“I was also in a hurry for work. Loud music was playing in the car, and the windows were closed. That is why I did not hear the sirens and signals. Only when the vehicle got close did I realize. I understood the seriousness of the mistake; this will not happen again.”
Law enforcement authorities drew up an administrative protocol against this person under the relevant provisions of the law. In addition, a preventive conversation was held with him to explain the importance of responsibility and caution on the road.
Officials emphasized that every minute on the road matters, especially when it comes to special service vehicles like ambulances. Failing to give them way may endanger human lives. Therefore, drivers are required to strictly follow the rules.
