In the city of Navoi, three young men (aged 22 to 24) who stole a paynet device were detained as a result of an operational event. This was reported by the head of the information service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, Fayoz Kasimov.
It was reported that these young men, who were from Navoi and knew each other well, stole a paynet device located in the Taraqqiyot neighborhood in the middle of the night. They put masks on their faces and medical gloves on their hands, loaded the device into a car without license plates, and stole it. Inside the device, 5,263,000 soums were found.
Thanks to the intensive efforts of the operational-search service of the Navoi Regional Department of Internal Affairs and the Department for Combating Property Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Department, these three "warriors" were detained that very night. They were detained before carrying out the next planned action, which demonstrated the experience of operational service personnel and the effectiveness of control.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against them under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. They are also obligated to compensate for the damage in the amount of 36,763,000 soums. This is being done not only to reduce the consequences of the crime, but also to provide material compensation to the victims.
Residents of the mahalla and city residents were seriously warned about the incident. Police and operational search services are constantly working to find offenders and prevent crimes. At the same time, this incident once again proved the necessity for local residents to strictly observe safety measures and immediately report suspicious persons and circumstances.
