Another suspect arrested in attack on Uzbek migrants in Vladivostok

In Russia, a conflict involving migrants has caused a major public outcry. According to the latest reports, law enforcement officers have detained another person in connection with the case. The Investigative Committee stated that the detainee is a 15-year-old minor, a Russian citizen, who was part of a group of young men accused of hooliganism.

The incident occurred on September 13 in the city of Vladivostok. According to investigators, a group of youths, under the influence of alcohol, committed various acts of hooliganism. First, they damaged a parked car for no reason and sprayed aerosol inside it. Then they attacked a truck driver and inflicted bodily injuries on him.

The young men did not stop there: they broke into a 24-hour store on Khabarovskaya Street and attacked a taxi driver and his passenger in front of customers and the shop assistant. They also used stones and other objects as weapons to attack people and beat up another citizen.

As a result, a criminal case was opened under Article 213, Part 2 (“Hooliganism”) of the Criminal Code of Russia. Law enforcement agencies detained two suspects, while another remains wanted.

According to local sources, such incidents pose a serious threat not only to the safety of migrants but also to public order as a whole. Experts emphasize the need to strengthen control among young people and to prevent such actions.
