
Yesterday, September 17, at 14:18, a 24-year-old woman living in the Almazar district of Tashkent threw herself and her two children out of the window of an apartment building.
It turned out that the woman, angered by the disagreement and jealousy that arose with her husband, threw her two sons, born in 2022 and 2024, out of the corridor window of the 4th floor of the house where they lived. This step is being assessed as a situation caused by haste and anger.
Then he threw himself out of the corridor window of the 8th floor of the same building. As a result of the incident, the woman died after being hospitalized, and the lives of two minors were successfully saved. They are currently under medical supervision, and their health status is stable.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated on this fact under Articles 25 and 97 of the Criminal Code (attempted murder), and an investigation is underway. Investigators continue to investigate the causes of the incident, the woman's mental state, and family relationships.
Specialists and human rights defenders urge the population to exercise extreme caution in such situations, promptly resolve family disputes, and seek psychological help.
This tragic event is seen as a threat not only to the family, but also to the whole community, and now the government and relevant agencies are strengthening measures to ensure the safety of children and prevent such cases.
