September 25, in the city of Andijan, a Nexia-2 car hit a schoolchild born in 2015. This was officially reported by the Road Traffic Safety Department of Andijan Region.
According to the report, at approximately 15:35 on the 342nd kilometer of the international road A-373, passing through the territory of MFY “Bogishamol,” the driver N.D., born in 1993, was driving a Nexia-2 vehicle and hit 10-year-old I.D., who was crossing the road outside of a designated area.
As a result of the incident, the child received minor injuries and went to the hospital. Road traffic officers began an investigation and examination at the scene. Currently, responsible officials are determining the information of the child and the driver, as well as the causes and circumstances of the incident.
This incident once again demonstrates how important it is for pedestrians to follow traffic rules and for drivers to remain attentive. The caution of the public and responsible persons regarding road safety and child protection is of particular importance.
