In Tashkent, in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, on October 1st of this year, a tragic incident occurred that deeply affected the local population. Reports spread on social media about a boy with disabilities being brutally beaten in one of Tashkent's vocational schools. Photos attached to the reports show the boy's eyes and face, as well as various parts of his body bruised.

A complaint was submitted to the Children’s Ombudsman by a woman born in 1985, named H.G.. According to her, in September of this year, a child with a 2nd group disability, R.F., who was attending a vocational school in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent, was subjected to various physical violence.

According to the complainant, the physical abuse inflicted on her child caused significant harm to his physical condition and health. Bruises and swelling were clearly visible on the child's body. The Children’s Ombudsman is continuing to monitor the situation and has maintained regular contact with the boy's mother.
