On the morning of October 3, 2025, a traffic accident occurred in the Nishon district of Qashqadaryo region. As a result of the incident, the head of the “Hududgaz Qashqadaryo” gas supply branch in Nishon passed away. It was reported that the accident occurred at night while the vehicle was returning from the cotton headquarters and veered off the road into a ditch. A source familiar with the situation stated that the deceased’s body remained at the scene until morning.
The information service of the “Hududgaz Qashqadaryo” branch confirmed the death of the Nishon branch head and expressed condolences. However, they denied reports that the body was found in the ditch and that the deceased was returning from the cotton headquarters. It was noted that the deceased was traveling as a passenger at the time of the incident.
A representative of the regional gas branch said: “He was traveling in the car as a passenger. The incident indeed occurred at night.”
The information service of the Qashqadaryo Regional Internal Affairs Department also informed “Daryo” that the traffic accident that caused the death of the head of the Nishon gas supply branch occurred on the morning of October 3. Two people were involved in the accident: one died in the hospital, and the other survived.
According to sources, the second participant in the accident was an employee of the Nishon district office of the Cadastral Agency. This tragic incident caused deep sorrow and shock among the local population.
