In the city of Angren, Tashkent region, a road traffic accident that occurred in the evening of October 4 caused wide discussions. According to the official information distributed by the regional Emergency Situations Department, a major accident involving a MAN truck and a Matiz car was registered.
It is reported that the incident happened at around 19:45 on the 88th kilometer of the A-373 highway passing through the territory of Angren city. The moving MAN brand truck sharply collided with a Matiz, as a result of which a fire broke out in the vehicles. Vigilant citizens reported this to the relevant authorities.
Only six minutes later — at 19:51 — fire and rescue units arrived at the scene. The special crews, working in reinforced mode, managed to contain the fire by the sixth minute. Thanks to the prompt measures, at 20:07 the fire was completely extinguished.
According to reliable sources, no people received bodily injuries as a result of the incident. This became the greatest relief for all citizens connected to the accident. However, both vehicles suffered significant material damage.
Currently, specialists are studying the exact causes of the incident. Possible technical malfunction or violation of the rules by one of the drivers is being considered.
Such cases once again demonstrate how important caution and responsibility are on the roads. Because collisions with large trucks can lead to major losses.
