A "Lacetti" car caught fire while driving in Tashkent

On the evening of October 10, an unexpected fire occurred in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent. According to the Main Department of Emergency Situations, a Lacetti car caught fire while traveling on Buyuk Ipak Yuli Street, local sources reported.

According to witnesses, black smoke emerged from the vehicle within seconds, and after some time, the fire engulfed the entire body. Due to the intensity of the fire, the passengers retreated to a safe distance.

As soon as the message was received, the fire and rescue service duty team arrived at the scene. They quickly contained the fire and prevented it from spreading to nearby buildings or other vehicles. According to official data, the fire started at 20:18 and was completely extinguished 10 minutes later - at 20:28.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, no one was injured in the incident. However, it was reported that the car had completely burned down.

Currently, specialists are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. It is assumed that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit in the electrical circuit or a malfunction in the fuel system.

The Emergency Situations Service recommended that drivers regularly conduct technical inspections of their vehicles and check the condition of the fuel system and electrical equipment. Special service representatives emphasized that in such situations, prompt notification and safe distance are crucial for saving human lives.

The Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations announced that it will publish additional information about the incident after the completion of the investigation.
