An unexpected traffic accident in Tashkent drew public attention. On October 17, an unusual collision involving Chery and Malibu cars occurred in the Yashnobod district of the capital, reported poytaxt.uz.
The Chery car, moving at high speed, for unknown reasons lost control at the moment of the incident and suddenly collided with a Malibu-2 that was standing in the middle of the road. As a result of the impact, the front part of the Chery lifted upward and ended up on top of the Malibu. Witnesses of the incident said they were still in shock.
The incident was recorded around 15:20 on Makhtumkuli Street. Since traffic in that area was relatively dense, the accident caused a short traffic jam that lasted several minutes.
According to the Main Department of Internal Affairs — Traffic Safety Department, fortunately, no one was injured. The vehicles sustained some technical damage.
At present, an investigation into the incident is underway. A special technical examination is determining the degree of fault, speed levels, and other contributing factors.
At the same time, the traffic police once again urged pedestrians and drivers to be careful. It was noted that high-speed driving on city roads can lead to unexpected and dangerous situations.
According to witnesses, after the collision, people gathered around hurried to check if anyone was injured, while others recorded the scene on their phones.
Currently, both cars have been removed from the scene with the help of a tow truck, and the area has been temporarily placed under control.
Such incidents once again remind city residents that even a single moment of inattention can lead to unexpected consequences.
