A new scandal erupted online — speech therapist Dilorom Jabborova was filmed shouting at a child and encouraging aggressive behavior.
The footage shows the specialist demanding the child to throw objects while shouting, “Don’t be weak, be strong.” According to her, this method “develops character.” She also tells the child: “If they tell you to close the door, enter through the window,” implying that disobedience builds a “strong personality.”
The incident caused a wave of outrage among the public. Many described it not as psychology or speech therapy, but as cruelty.
It is worth recalling that in 2024, Jabborova became known for similar “treatment” methods. Her sessions involved shouting, humiliation, candles, and even chess pieces, which led to a criminal case. The Office of the Children’s Ombudsman and experts found evidence of both physical and psychological abuse in her practice.
However, after the case was closed, she continued her activity. In 2025, she opened a center called “Voice Academy” in Namangan and later announced plans to open another branch in Bukhara.
In April this year, the Children’s Ombudsman Office appealed again to the Prosecutor General’s Office. After that, the Yunusabad District Prosecutor’s Office reopened the previously closed criminal case.
Currently, the investigation against Dilorom Jabborova has been resumed.
Experts emphasize: “Stuttering requires patience and professional treatment. Shouting at and humiliating a child cannot be considered therapy, science, or ethics.”
