On October 21, a fire broke out in a multi-storey residential building in the Sergeli district of Tashkent city. This was reported by the Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations.
According to the information, at 19:33 a report was received about a fire in one of the apartments in the 4th block of Sergeli. Rescue crews arrived at the scene within five minutes, and by 19:56 the fire was completely extinguished.
Preliminary data show that household items over an area of 15 square meters were burned. The fire was quickly contained and did not spread to other apartments.
The Department of Emergency Situations stated that no one was injured as a result of the fire. Currently, the causes of the incident and the amount of material damage are being determined.
Experts urge residents to exercise caution when using electrical appliances and to strictly follow fire safety requirements in their homes.
