
An unexpected brawl broke out in Tashkent. This incident, which disrupted peace in the Yakkasaray district, also caused controversy among the public.
According to reports, on October 19th, around 8:00 PM, a dispute broke out between the driver of a Nexia-2 and a 60-year-old man on Yusuf Xos Hojib Street. What started as a simple verbal disagreement later turned into mass hooliganism.
Witnesses say that the driver, unable to cope with his nerves, physically assaulted the elderly man. After that, he left the scene. Within a few minutes, the victim was taken to emergency medical care.
Doctors reported that the 60-year-old man suffered a closed head injury, a concussion, and an eyebrow injury. Now he is undergoing treatment under supervision.
According to sources close to the investigation, a case has been initiated under Article 277 of the Criminal Code - "Hooliganism." The driver's identity has been established, and an investigation has been launched.
Internal affairs bodies urge citizens to be patient in such situations and resolve conflicts through dialogue, not force.
Currently, the investigation is ongoing.
