
Reports about the future groom in Tashkent selling his house by deceiving the bride caused a stir on social networks. The capital's Department of Internal Affairs issued an official statement regarding this situation.
According to the information, Sh.R., born in 1997, entered into the trust of Sh.A., born in 1999, promising to marry her. Before the wedding, he sold the bride's house to another citizen for $240,000 under the pretext that "the house needs to be temporarily mortgaged to solve financial problems."
A criminal case has been initiated against Sh.R. under Article 168, Part 4, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure of imprisonment has been applied. During the investigation, it was revealed that he had committed similar cases of fraud against other citizens.
The case is currently being considered in the Mirzo-Ulugbek District Court. Law enforcement agencies advise citizens to be cautious in such situations and officially certify financial transactions.
