More than 3,000 illegal construction sites were demolished in Uzbekistan

The results of the work carried out to strengthen the rule of law and control in the field of construction and housing and communal services were announced. According to the results of the inspection's nine-month activity, more than 3,000 construction projects across the country were demolished due to non-compliance with requirements and standards.

Currently, more than 28 thousand construction sites in the republic are under state control. During the current year, the Inspection's employees conducted about 317 thousand inspections and control measures. As a result, more than 154,000 written instructions were issued to eliminate violations in construction, and administrative fines were imposed on responsible persons in 7,000 cases.

Inspections have shown that construction requirements have not been fully met in some projects. As a result, demolition measures were carried out at more than 3 thousand facilities. These measures are being taken to improve the quality of construction and ensure the safety of citizens.

Also, over 9 months, the technical condition of 18,965 apartment buildings was studied. As a result, more than 5,000 violations of the law were identified, and appropriate instructions were given to eliminate them. Currently, the implementation of these instructions is under constant control.

Inspections of drinking water supply and sewerage systems also revealed serious shortcomings. More than 4,600 violations were identified in this area, and fines were imposed on them in the prescribed manner.
