A tragic incident occurred in Samarkand on the evening of November 7 - a young girl fell into a well, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to the information, at 22:48, an urgent message was received about a child falling into a well located on "Abu Rayhan Beruni" street in the city. Upon receiving this message, the rescue teams of the Ministry of Emergency Situations immediately went to the scene.
Rescuers who arrived at the scene, using special equipment and safety measures, descended into the well and carefully pulled the girl out. The girl was handed over to her parents in good health.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations called on the population to exercise caution. In particular, it is recommended to keep children away from open or unrepaired wells and deep places around the house.
It should be recalled that a similar situation was previously recorded in the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region - rescuers saved the life of a child who fell into a toilet hole.
