Compensation paid to those affected by law violations
During 2025, the Tashkent administration paid 181.8 billion Uzbek so‘m in compensation to citizens for buildings and structures unlawfully demolished. According to the General Prosecutor's Office of Uzbekistan, these funds were directly recovered from the budgets of the administrative bodies responsible for the demolished properties, including residential houses and commercial facilities.

At the same time, the Tashkent city Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement also achieved significant results in restoring citizens' rights. Due to the efforts of this structure, an additional 247.7 billion so‘m in payments were made, distributed among more than five thousand city residents.

The majority of these payments—241.3 billion so‘m—were allocated for compensating material and moral damages, while another 6.4 billion so‘m was directed towards settling wage debts. Despite the significant sum of paid funds, the total volume of unfulfilled court decisions remains substantial.

Currently, the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement is handling over 55,000 cases filed by individuals, with total claims amounting to 1.2 trillion so‘m. Cases initiated by legal entities, however, demonstrate even larger figures: there are over 147,000 cases with a total value of nearly 4.8 trillion so‘m.

These figures highlight the monumental tasks faced by the enforcement system in protecting the property rights of citizens and businesses.
