An unfortunate incident occurred in the Tashkent region, which caused public concern. Social networks became a hotbed of debate and discussion after videos circulated from the Qamchiq district showed a man with a rifle breaking into a store and wounding a female vendor. In the footage, it is clearly visible that the man entered the store with a hunting weapon in his hand, shouted and escalated the situation, and then hit the seller.
According to the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Tashkent region, the incident occurred on October 22 in the "Kuksaroy" mahalla. It is reported that 33-year-old R.K. came to the store with his spouse from a religious marriage - 35-year-old N.Sh. due to mutual disagreement and quarrel, threatened the woman and inflicted bodily harm.
After the incident was officially registered, law enforcement agencies immediately intervened in the situation. A criminal case has been initiated under part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code. The suspect was involved in the investigation process, his TOZ-34 type hunting weapon was confiscated, and his hunting license was officially revoked.
According to the forensic medical examination report, the victim sustained minor injuries. Her condition is stable, and she has received medical attention.
Currently, the incident is under full control. The Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs and the Akhangaran District Department of Internal Affairs are continuing the investigation. Officials are thoroughly investigating the causes of the incident, when and under what conditions the weapon was used, as well as the factors that caused it.
Experts emphasize that such cases pose a serious threat to public safety and say that the consequences of unofficial and uncontrolled use of weapons have once again been shown to the public.
