A series of rapid operations was conducted in the Fergana region in cooperation with the SSS, MIA, and Customs bodies, within the framework of a strict fight against the illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and potent substances. As a result, several individuals involved in the sale of "hashish" and the smuggled drug "Regapen" were arrested.
866 grams of "hashish" hidden in a "Matiz"
The first case was recorded in the city of Margilan. A "Matiz" car belonging to a citizen, born in 1996 and residing in Margilan, was stopped and inspected in the scope of the operation. During the check, 866 grams of the substance "hashish" were found in the car's cabin and seized as material evidence. It was established that the suspect aimed to sell this narcotic substance to obtain large profits.
Smuggling of "Regapen" from Kyrgyzstan for $12,800
Another operation was carried out in the city of Fergana. 2 drug dealers residing in Kurgontepa district of Andijan region were apprehended while attempting to sell 4,508 units of the potent drug "Regapen," smuggled from Kyrgyzstan, to a buyer for $12,800 US dollars.
Criminal cases were initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code regarding these incidents, and the preventive measure of "detention" was applied to the suspects. Responsible authorities reminded that such illicit trafficking poses a serious threat to the health of youth and the future of society, and that fighting this evil is the duty of everyone.
