An 18-year-old man in Sergeli jailed for harassing a stranger in an elevator

An 18-year-old man in Tashkent's Sergeli district was sentenced to five days in jail for committing lewd acts towards a stranger in an elevator. On November 30, the man, without knowing the woman, asked her to speak in English. After being refused, he engaged in inappropriate behavior.

During the court hearing, the man fully admitted his guilt, and a sentence of five days of detention was imposed under Article 41-1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code.
