On the Kamchik Pass, the weather is changing sharply, and at the same time, in the upper reaches, precipitation with a mixture of light rain and snow continues. Special measures are being implemented to ensure safe movement in this area, which becomes a center of attention every winter.
Rescue teams of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have organized constant monitoring of the pass. They provide practical assistance to drivers stranded on the road, redirect vehicles to safe places, and try to prevent possible emergencies. For now, two-way traffic through the pass is fully ensured, but speed limitations are recommended in some areas due to the slipperiness of the road.
Against the backdrop of severe weather, the Ministry of Emergency Situations issued a separate appeal to drivers. The statement emphasized the need to strictly follow such rules as careful driving, driving in vehicles that have passed technical inspection and winter tires, maintaining a long distance during maneuvers, and making decisions without rushing when obstacles arise.
Officials say that the pass may create even more difficult conditions due to new precipitation. Therefore, it is recommended to monitor the weather forecast before departure through Kamchik and, if necessary, temporarily postpone the trip.
Kamchik is not only a road, but also the main strategic artery connecting the north and east of our country. Therefore, every driver's adherence to safety regulations saves both their own life and the lives of others.
