In accordance with Resolution No. PQ-131 issued by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on March 28, 2025, measures undertaken to reassess land lease rights of farmers who have consistently failed to pay tax debts have started yielding results.
Specifically, during the period elapsed this year, execution actions carried out by the Syrdarya Regional Directorate and territorial divisions of the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau have resulted in the recovery of 4 billion 361 million som in tax debts from 147 defaulting farmer entities, out of 913 enforcement documents in process.
Furthermore, lease rights to land plots of 96 farmer entities that failed to resolve their debts voluntarily and had no other assets or property rights were seized and put up for electronic online auction sales at an initial total price of 91 billion 437 million som.
Execution actions in this regard are ongoing.
