A severe tragedy that occurred in the Yukori Chirchiq district has alarmed the public. It became known that a 68-year-old woman and her two grandchildren living in the Tashkent region were exposed to an unknown substance at home.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, on the morning of November 25, a report from the Gulobod neighborhood called everyone to vigilance: the grandmother and a girl born in 2017 died as a result of poisoning.
At the same time, a child born in 2013, who was also in the house, was taken to the hospital in serious condition. Doctors of the Dehqonobod medical association managed to save his life, and he is currently undergoing treatment.
Medical workers diagnosed all the victims with “poisoning by an unknown substance.”
At present, the Yukori Chirchiq district prosecutor’s office is conducting a pre-investigation review. The case has been taken under full control, and the investigation to determine the exact source of the substance continues.
