Reports have surfaced on social media today, December 11, that a 16-year-old girl fell from the cableway in Qamchiq Pass, Uzbekistan. Video footage clearly shows the girl hanging with a rope on the cableway for several minutes before eventually falling from a height.
Following the incident, she was immediately transported to Dangara District Hospital via emergency response. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that the girl's condition is not critical and that necessary medical assistance has been provided.
Many on social media have discussed the incident, emphasizing the need to further strengthen safety measures on the cableway.
Among the potential factors leading to the woman's fall, issues such as new measurements, technical errors, or external influences unrelated to the cableway were suggested.
