Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operating hours of methane refueling stations in several provinces of Uzbekistan. This was announced by the “Hududgaz” branches.
In Andijan region, the operation of 143 automobile gas-filling compressor stations (AGFCS) is permitted only from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This decision was coordinated with the regional administration, and necessary measures are being taken to normalize gas pressure. Similar regulations have been established in Navoi region, where 51 AGFCS will operate between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM, and in Khorezm region, where 94 methane refueling stations will operate from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Ministry of Energy explained that the restrictions on the operating hours of methane refueling stations are due to a reduction in natural gas imports caused by technical malfunctions in the gas network of a neighboring country.
It was also emphasized that practical measures are ongoing to resolve the issue, and these restrictions are only temporary.
