Saida Mirziyoyeva discussed intercultural understanding with the Pope

The Head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, met with Pope Leo XIV during the Sheikh Zayed "Human Fraternity" Award council meeting. The purpose of this meeting was to strengthen intercultural and interfaith understanding.

During the meeting, Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized that representatives of various religious confessions, including Catholics, live in harmony and mutual tolerance in Uzbekistan. Additionally, they discussed the award's aspirations to strengthen universal values on an international scale.

Furthermore, a willingness was expressed to collaborate on projects aimed at strengthening trust and promoting humanitarian principles. These projects are intended to contribute to ensuring peace, unity, and inclusivity throughout the world.
