In Tashkent, a man who walked with a knife in a multi-storey building corridor was arrested

In Tashkent, a person who was walking with a knife in the corridor of a multi-storey residential building was detained under administrative procedure. The press service of the capital’s Main Department of Internal Affairs reported this officially.
A video reflecting the situation spread on social networks and caused concern among many people. According to official information, the incident occurred on 5 January at around 01:35 at night. O.S., born in 1984, in a drunken state, knocked on the door of his neighbor D.Yu. in one of the multi-storey buildings in the Yashnobod district and disturbed him.
It was reported that, while being in a public place, he unlawfully carried an item that could be used as a cold weapon and violated public order. In connection with this incident, officers of the district internal affairs bodies promptly took measures and detained the offender under administrative procedure.
After that, the Yashnobod district IIO FMB drew up an administrative protocol against citizen O.S. under Articles 183 (petty hooliganism), 185-2 (carrying cold weapons or items that can be used as cold weapons), and 194 (failure to comply with lawful demands of an internal affairs officer) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
The collected documents were sent to the Yashnobod district court for criminal cases. According to the court’s decision, an administrative arrest penalty was imposed on this person.
At the same time, in the video circulated on social networks, it can also be seen that there was another citizen next to the man holding the knife. However, the official report noted that no separate information was provided about this second person.
