In Tashkent, control over passengers traveling on public transport without paying for their fare has been strengthened. Inspectors of the Tashkent City Passenger Transport Monitoring and Control State Institution are actively conducting raids against those traveling on buses “without a ticket”.

According to official data, during January 2026, a total of 11,502 administrative protocols were issued and appropriate fines were imposed on passengers traveling on buses without a ticket under Article 144, Part 5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

Experts emphasize that this requirement is not a "just punishment", but rather a requirement for each passenger to pay their fare on time for the stable operation of the public transport system, improving the quality of service and developing the infrastructure. It is stated that control raids will continue regularly.

In short, now there is no such thing as "even up to one stop": whether there is a card/ticket - yes, whether there is - a report.
