On the evening of February 16, a tragic fire was recorded in the city of Tashkent. At 20:51, a report was received about a fire in one of the private houses located on Beltepa Street in the Shaykhantakhur district of the city.
According to reports, fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene within three minutes. Firefighting operations were carried out, and the fire was completely extinguished at 21:38.
Unfortunately, after the fire was extinguished, the bodies of three people were found inside the apartment. It was reported that they are members of one family - a mother and her two minor children.
According to witnesses, the victims remained inside the room and did not have the opportunity to go outside.
- Our daughter-in-law and two nephews were left inside the house and couldn't get out. "We tried to get inside, broke down the wall with the neighbors, but it was too late," said one of the witnesses.
Also, as a result of the fire, another citizen was hospitalized with various bodily injuries.
The Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations is conducting a pre-trial investigation into the incident. Additional details about the cause and circumstances of the fire are being clarified.
