As a result of joint search and preventive measures carried out by the Tashkent Regional Department of the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the activities of a criminal group in the city of Chirchik were stopped. According to law enforcement agencies, the group was completely exposed and its members were detained.
It turned out that the person who introduced himself by the nickname "Molotok" tried to form a criminal structure and expand his sphere of influence in the region since the last months of 2023. It is noted that he mainly gathered physically strong young people involved in sports around him and involved them in various illegal activities.
During the pre-investigation inquiries, it was revealed that the group members tried to “resolve” pre-existing disputes and debt issues through violence, not within the framework of the law. In particular, it was reported that during the meeting, which was called a “street discussion”, physical force was used against the victim and bodily injury was inflicted.
During the emergency measures, all members of the group were detained. A criminal case was opened against them under Article 277 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. By court decision, the suspects were taken into custody, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
Such cases remind us of one thing: the path of “we will solve it by force” will end in the law. Now, the case is under investigation - truth and responsibility will certainly find their place.
