The controversy surrounding the head of "Uzbelas Performance" intensified with the punishment

Photos related to Asadbek Jumayev, head of the Uzbelas Performance car service in Tashkent, sparked widespread discussion on social media. In the circulated footage, he is seen serving a sentence in administrative detention. In particular, the photographs show him having his hair cut, as well as carrying out sweeping work on the territory of the detention center. These personnel once again drew public attention to this work.
As it became known, 23-year-old Asadbek Jumayev was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest on charges of discrediting internal affairs officers after posting a video in early January. This video and subsequent statements are seen as the main cause of this conflict.
In the circulated video, two BMW X5 and BMW X7 cars continued on their way, disobeying the demands of traffic police officers who signaled to stop. Later, Asadbek Jumayev himself admitted that in this video, the traffic police officers appeared mockingly, that is, jokingly and unpleasantly. This aspect became one of the main points that gave this case a legal character.
Initially, the most lenient punishment stipulated by the relevant article was applied to him for this act. That is, a fine of 20 BRV was imposed on him. This decision was initially assessed as a relatively lenient punishment.
However, not long after, another interview with Jumayev caused a great stir. In it, he expressed an opinion that he got away with only ten minimals, since he had many acquaintances, while others would have to spend 15 days in prison. Some also noted that the fine could have been paid within 15 days and a 50% discount could have been obtained. However, this very statement sparked strong discontent and sharp discussions among the public.
After a wide resonance, the prosecutor's office protested the court's decision. After that, the case was reviewed again, and the previous fine was canceled by the Tashkent City Court. As a result, he was sentenced to the maximum sanction specified in the relevant article - 10 days of administrative arrest.
Thus, the case, initially limited to a fine, later ended in a much harsher punishment. This incident reminded the public of another truth: a single video posted on social networks or a single thoughtlessly given interview can sometimes lead to unexpected and serious legal consequences.
