The State Security Service of the Namangan region, together with the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, organized an urgent operation.
According to information, a woman living in Chust district was detained when she, through acquaintances, demanded 20 million soums from a company employee in exchange for eliminating the tax debt of a limited liability company operating in the trade sector in the amount of 376.6 million soums. During this operation, the necessary material evidence was also found.
During the pre-investigation investigation, it was revealed that the chief inspector of the Chust district tax inspection was also involved in these violations.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the violators and the investigation is actively continuing. This situation once again demonstrated the importance of paying taxes and obeying the law among the local population.
This event demonstrated not only the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies, but also an important step in the fight against corruption.
