Strong Flood Stream Submerged Streets in Samarkand

Yesterday, March 28, a strong flood stream was observed in Urgut district of Samarkand region. This was reported by Uzbekhydromet.

It was reported that at the Samarkand meteorological station and Urgut hydropost heavy rainfall occurred (from 20:02 to 21:00 for 58 minutes up to 5.8 mm).

As a result of the heavy rainfall, some streets were flooded, and local residents were urged to exercise caution.
