Flash floods hit Kashkadarya after heavy rain

On May 19, following heavy rainfall, flash floods occurred in certain areas of the Kashkadarya region. Water mixed with mud and rocks quickly filled riverbeds and hazardous road sections.

Witnesses reported that the current intensified, and in some places, water overflowed from canals, posing a danger to vehicles.

Local residents and drivers have been urged to stay away from rivers, bridges, and mountainous road areas and to exercise maximum caution.
