Thousands of trash violations reported

In the first three months of 2026, a total of 2,107 waste-related violations were identified across the republic. This was reported by the Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency.

According to the data, administrative liability was applied to 322 of the identified cases, and appropriate fines were collected. Measures are being taken in accordance with the law for the remaining 1,785 violations.

Additionally, approximately 700 online surveillance cameras have been installed across the republic's regions, allowing for the identification of waste disposal violations and the recording of other environmental violations.
