Customs officers in the Fergana region intercepted a shipment of illegal narcotics hidden among food and clothing in a car arriving from Kyrgyzstan. During an inspection at the "Fergana" border post, officials discovered 6,000 tablets of a drug called "Tawon liar," which was concealed inside bags of potatoes. Laboratory tests confirmed that the medication contained Tapentadol, a controlled substance. Law enforcement agencies have since launched a criminal investigation into the incident.

In the Fergana region, customs officers uncovered an attempt to smuggle in illegal drugs. This was reported by the Customs Committee.

It is reported that the passenger car imported from Kyrgyzstan was inspected in the prescribed manner at the "Fergana" border customs post. During the inspection, suspicious products were identified among the luggage being brought in by the driver.

It was found that there were large quantities of medicines wrapped in clothes and hidden among food products, including potatoes, in two pieces of cargo sent from Sokh district to Fergana city.

As a result of the inspection, it was found that a total of 150 boxes, that is, 6,000 pieces of the drug called "Tawon liar" were found. An expert examination conducted by specialists revealed that these drugs contain "Tapentadol."

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated by law enforcement agencies regarding this situation, and investigative actions are underway.
