In Kashkadarya, those who destroyed the tulip field were fined

Authorities in the Kokdala district of Kashkadarya region have penalized a group of individuals for driving their vehicles through a field of tulips. Following an investigation by ecology and law enforcement agencies, the offenders were ordered to pay over 61 million soums in fines and damages. Their vehicles were seized, and they are required to fully compensate for the environmental harm caused. The Ecology Committee used this incident to remind the public that damaging green spaces will result in strict legal consequences.
An illegal act against nature was recorded in the Kokdala district of the Kashkadarya region. It was found that a group of citizens drove vehicles through a tulip field area.
This incident was investigated by the Department of Ecology and Climate Change together with internal affairs bodies. During the inspections, the individuals who committed the violation were identified in accordance with the established procedure, and their vehicles were placed in an impound lot.
According to official calculations, the damage to nature amounted to 6 million 592 thousand soums. In addition, each of the three violators was fined 50 times the basic calculation amount, which is 20 million 600 thousand soums each. The total fine amounts to 61 million 800 thousand soums.
It is noted that the violators are required to fully compensate both the damage and the fines.
The Ecology Committee reminded citizens of the importance of treating nature carefully and protecting plants and green areas. Experts emphasize that any damage to nature leads to serious legal responsibility.
