Opportunities for legal employment of Uzbeks in France are expanding
The practical visit of the Uzbekistan delegation to France has become an important step in ensuring legal and systematic employment of the country’s citizens abroad. A group consisting of representatives of the Migration Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in France, reached a number of major agreements.

In particular, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with one of the largest structures in France’s agricultural sector — FNSEA. According to the agreement, citizens of Uzbekistan will be involved in seasonal work in vineyards in France. This will contribute to formalizing labor migration and implementing it through safe mechanisms.

It is reported that starting from the summer of 2026, within the framework of a pilot project, the first 50 candidates will be sent to France for work. This experience is expected to serve as a basis for further expansion of the program.

In addition, a cooperation agreement was signed with Sélect Recruiting Service, which specializes in candidate selection and employment. This organization will handle the selection, training, and job placement processes.

Another important direction is the establishment of cooperation with CFA AC Paris in the “education + work” format. Now, Uzbek youth will have the opportunity to study and work simultaneously in the restaurant sector in France.

To implement the agreements and coordinate organizational and legal issues, negotiations were also held with a number of reputable French institutions. Among them are France Travail, CCI Île-de-France, and AP-HP.

According to experts, these agreements will not only regulate labor migration but also open new opportunities for Uzbek citizens in the European labor market. Most importantly, all processes will be carried out in a legal and transparent manner, ensuring the protection of citizens’ interests.
