More than 90 households have been flooded in the Beshariq district of the Fergana region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported the incident.
According to the report, on May 1 of this year, at 9:41 p.m., the 112 emergency system received a report that heavy rainfall had caused rainwater to enter the yards of over 90 residential houses located on certain streets in the "Vorux Dasht" and "Yangiqoʻrgʻon" citizens' assemblies.
"Personnel from the Fergana Regional Emergency Situations Department, along with representatives from the regional and district administrations, immediately arrived at the scene and are actively working to eliminate the consequences of the situation," the statement said.
It is noted that all necessary forces and equipment have been deployed for the cleanup efforts, and the situation is under full control. No injuries among citizens have been reported as a result of the incident.
"The consequences of this situation are expected to be resolved in a short period," the report added.
