At Manchester City: internal moves, transfers and star decisions

At Manchester City: internal moves, transfers and star decisions
Phil Foden, one of Manchester City's main players, is going through turbulent times off the pitch.

Back in 2021, the footballer bought a luxury house for his family. He first lived there with his parents, then moved in with his girlfriend. Now, the Fodens are putting the £3 million house up for sale.

According to “The Sun”, frequent parties in the house caused irritation among neighbors. Additionally, Foden’s mother was insulted at a recent derby, which deeply upset the player.

Foden is a City academy product. Since 2017, he has played 352 matches, scored 118 goals, and delivered 73 assists.

His contract runs until 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his value is €130 million.
“When Abdukodir Khusanov first arrived, I personally helped him. He has talent, but young players need support. I felt more like a big brother than a defender back then,” Foden said in a February interview.

Where will De Bruyne go next? His family will decide

One of the key figures behind City's recent success, Kevin De Bruyne, has revealed he might leave at the end of the season.

The 34-year-old Belgian is reportedly weighing offers from Saudi Arabia, the USA (including Inter Miami), and even Premier League clubs.
“I'm not young anymore, but I'm still ready to play at a high level. Where I play next is something I’ll discuss with my family. In football, nothing gets resolved in a day,” he said.

Kevin emphasized he has not said “yes” to any club yet, though he’s not ruling out staying in England.

City scouting another talent from Khusanov’s league

After signing Abdukodir Khusanov from France’s Lens for €50 million, City is now eyeing another Ligue 1 star.

This time it's Maghnes Akliouche from Monaco. The 23-year-old attacking midfielder is also being tracked by PSG.

His season so far: 38 games, 6 goals, 9 assists. Contracted until 2028.

Transfermarkt lists his market value at €40 million.
