The head coach of the U-17 national team of Uzbekistan, Islombek Ismailov, commented on the match against Saudi Arabia and the championship.

- First of all, congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on the victory. This victory is the result of the hard work of many people. In recent years, our head of state has been paying special attention to sports, especially football. We thank you for this. We also express our gratitude to the leadership of the UFA, the Department of International Relations and National Teams, and everyone who has worked hard for our team. The Football Association of Uzbekistan has organized many training camps for us so far, and created conditions for our participation in international tournaments.

Our homeland has always been a land of heroes and brave people. Our players have once again shown this on the field. It was a fantastic game, an example of courage and determination. I thank the guys, they accomplished an impossible task. Our feelings cannot be described in words. We have an even more important tournament ahead of us.
