Aliyev, the top scorer on the continent, shared his feelings

The U-17 national team of Uzbekistan won the Asian Championship. Asilbek Aliyev made a big contribution to this historic victory - he scored 5 goals during the tournament and was recognized as the top scorer of the tournament.

After the championship, the striker spoke openly about his feelings, his role in the game and his responsibility in it.

“It is difficult to express my feelings”

“It is not easy to express my feelings in words. From the very beginning of the tournament, we aimed only at becoming the champion. We did not back down once, we fought only for victory in every match. Thank God, we achieved this goal,” says Asilbek Aliyev.

He emphasized that the team's first and main goal was to qualify for the World Cup, and he happily noted that this mission was also successfully accomplished.

“We had 8 men left, I had to go back and help”

When the team was left with two players in the championship final, Aliyev moved from the attacking line to midfield and played back on the right wing:

“In the second half, I went into the right wing midfield. We had 8 men left on the field. The opponent intensified the attack, and I had to go back and help.”

This showed teamwork and readiness for changing tasks on the part of each player.

“I dedicate this victory to my parents and coaches”

Aliyev dedicated his personal success in the competition to his loved ones:
“I dedicate this victory to my parents and coaches. I am grateful to them - they believed in me, they supported me.”
