Bruno Fernandes receives major offer from Saudi club: Will the Man United star leave?

Bruno Fernandes, the Portuguese captain of Manchester United and one of the team’s main leaders, may continue his career in Saudi Arabia.

According to reports, one of Saudi Arabia’s top and most powerful clubs — Al Hilal — has shown serious interest in the midfielder. Initial talks between the club and the player have reportedly already taken place.

It is claimed that Al Hilal’s management is willing to pay €80 million for the transfer, which is well above the release clause listed in Fernandes’s contract with Manchester United.

Bruno Fernandes’s current contract with the Red Devils runs until the summer of 2027. Transfermarkt estimates the player's market value at around €55 million. Al Hilal’s offer clearly shows their strong intent.

This season, Fernandes has had an outstanding performance, appearing in 52 matches across all competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing 18 assists.

It remains unknown how Manchester United's board and new head coach Rúben Amorim will respond to this potential deal. Given Fernandes’s importance to the team, it’s unlikely the club would easily let him go.

Still, Al Hilal is pursuing top-tier players and has previously completed several high-profile transfers. The club is also expected to offer a very lucrative salary to Fernandes.
