The Uzbek national team has qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time in history, bringing great joy and pride to our people. Our team returned to Tashkent after the decisive match in the United Arab Emirates. Our compatriots gathered at Tashkent airport since early morning to welcome our champions.


A special ceremony was organized to welcome our national team when the plane landed. At the airport, where the red carpet was rolled out and the flags of our country fluttered, our players were welcomed with open arms and warm words by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, the President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan Bahodir Kurbanov, and other high-ranking leaders.

The players and the head coach of the team, Temur Kapadze, who got off the plane, were presented with bouquets. Each player was given special attention and thanked for their high results.
