Xabi Alonso Introduces Drones to Real Madrid’s Training Sessions
A new era, a new approach: a technological revolution has begun at Real Madrid. The club’s newly appointed head coach, Xabi Alonso, is now using drones to make training more effective. This was reported by the Spanish publication Marca.

The 43-year-old specialist recently replaced Carlo Ancelotti and has started his work at Real. Under Alonso, the first game took place in the United States during the Club World Cup, where the "royal club" drew 1-1 with Al-Hilal.

The new manager’s influence is already visible: during a training session in West Palm Beach, Alonso used drones to more accurately analyze players’ movements. This method is being introduced for the first time in the club’s history.

Being able to observe training from the air provides the coaching staff with additional visual analysis. This allows them to more thoroughly study players’ positional movements, team play, and tactical interactions.

This technology had not been used before at Real Madrid. While working at Bayer, Alonso mostly relied on stationary cameras set up on the sidelines to observe training. Now, with drones, he can get a panoramic view of the whole pitch from above.

Such an innovative approach will undoubtedly help the team better understand every movement on the field and develop more precise tactical solutions against their rivals.

The Zamin.uz editorial team believes that the new coach’s experience and ideas will take Real Madrid to even greater heights. The effectiveness of drone technology in training will soon be reflected in the results.
