Serious changes may take place in the squad of the famous Turin club Juventus this summer. One of the team’s main strikers — Dušan Vlahović — has already packed his belongings and is waiting for a new destination. This was reported by football journalist Nicolo Schira.
According to available information, the relationship between the club and the player has ended, meaning both sides do not plan to start the new season together. The main task now is to find a suitable team for him.
Juventus management is reportedly willing to sell Vlahović this summer for a relatively low price — around 20 million euros. However, the main obstacle is the Serbian striker’s salary. He currently earns 12 million euros per year, and not many clubs are ready to meet such financial demands.
The player has rejected offers from Turkey and Saudi Arabia. He prefers to remain in one of Europe’s top leagues and play for a competitive team. Therefore, his next club is most likely to be from one of the top five leagues.
Although Vlahović’s contract with Juventus is valid until 2026, only one year remains — a key factor for a potential transfer at a favorable price. If Juventus doesn’t sell him this summer, they risk losing him as a free agent next year.
There are also reports that Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea have shown interest. However, no concrete steps have been taken so far.
The situation may become clearer in the final weeks of August. Just like last year with Federico Chiesa, the club may wait until the last moment, but the outcome remains uncertain.
